"Becoming a Love and Logic Parent"*
This dynamic and practical program, created by Jim Fay, Foster Cline, M.D. and Charles Fay, Ph.D. is conducted by our school counselor, who is a trained facilitator. "Early Childhood Parenting Made Fun: Creating Happy Families and Responsible Kids-Birth to age 6"*
This program for parents of younger children is offered once a school year by our counselor and lasts for 5 weeks.
* Both of these programs teach parents strategies that encourage children to be responsible. Parents learn how to avoid power struggles and provide opportunities for children to make good decisions and develop strong self esteems. It really helps put the fun into parenting! The classes are available to anyone in the community, not just Shlenker famililies and are offered as both day and evening options.
