The Shlenker PTO "Parent Teacher Organization" is a volunteer group of parents, teachers, and administrators working together to create a better school and educational experience for our children.
The PTO meetings are held in the PTO room and begin at 8:30 a.m. unless otherwise noted. All PTO Members are welcome to attend.
The Shlenker PTO supports the school in many different ways. We sponsor several activities and programs that benefit and enrich classroom learning as well as coordinate family and community events. We offer an assortment of fund raising programs throughout the school year so that we can contribute valuable dollars to The Shlenker School’s annual budget. Last year, we contributed $35,000 to the school. The PTO also facilitates and coordinates the annual Book Fair to raise money for the School library.
There are a number of opportunities that fit any schedule. Volunteers are vital to the success of our school and always needed. Please know that any amount of time spent volunteering is truly appreciated and makes a big difference.
