Lunch

Epicurean Delight caters our school lunches for elementary students and provides a variety of healthy choices. They are sensitive to maintaining Kosher style or vegetarian options and providing low-fat, nutritional meals. Parents may open a lunch account with Epicurean Delight. Charges to the account will be recorded and parents will receive periodic notices of balances. Any questions concerning lunch may be directed to Epicurean Delight at 713-860-0041.

Students eat lunch at the following times:

K – 1 11:00 a.m.
2 – 3 11:45 a.m.
4 – 5 12:30 p.m.

Fifteen minutes of recess follows each lunch period. Parents are always welcome to eat lunch with their children. Because Temple policy does not allow pork orshellfish to be served or brought on campus, students are requested not to bring these items into the building. Please read all labels carefully, as some hot dogs and prepared lunches contain pork. Elementary school children may bring their own lunches to school every day, or they may choose to buy a hot lunch. "Junk food" and candy are strongly discouraged.
