The Shlenker School Community

Our families and alumni are the life of The Shlenker School experience. Whether working a booth at Carnival, baking cookies for an event, or covering lunch duty for a teacher, our families are an important part of the Shlenker community. Whether near or far, there are numerous opportunities in which Shlenker families can participate.

Dads' and Special Friends' Club

The Shlenker Dads’ and Special Friends’ Club provides an opportunity for dads and special friends to be a special part of their children’s school life, while assisting other organizations within The Shlenker School to grow. The Dads' and Special Friends' Club is the "Honey Do” of the School available to teachers, administrative staff, and the Shlenker Parents Association. Each year comes with a new list of fresh ideas and opportunities for all dads and special friends to become involved. Should you have any ideas or want to be more involved with the Dads' and Special Friends’ Club, please contact the Office of Advancement at 713-270-6127. All dads and special friends are welcome.

Grandparents’ and Special Friends’ Club

The Shlenker School's Grandparents’ and Special Friends’ Club began in 1999. Throughout the school year, there are various activities that enable grandparents and special friends to visit the School and experience the phenomenal education and programming students receive at Shlenker. Grandparents and special friends are always welcome at Kabbalat Shabbat services.

If you are interested in becoming a member of The Shlenker School’s Grandparents’ and Special Friends’ Club, please contact the Office of Advancement at 713-270-6127.
