Payment Options

A non-refundable deposit of 5% is due at the time of contract submission for all payment plans.

Pay in Full
Payment is due in full in June (no deferred payment fees).
Semi-Annual Plan
Payments are due in June and December. A deferred payment fee applies:
• $610 for Elementary
• $310 for Early Childhood
Monthly Plan
Payments are spread over ten months, from June through March. A deferred payment fee applies:
• $650 for Elementary
• $330 for Early Childhood

Tuition Assistance

At The Shlenker School, we provide need-based tuition assistance. Admissions decisions are made separately from tuition assistance decisions. The Tuition Assistance Committee takes into account all information provided by applicants along with the recommendations of our processing service, Clarity. All information provided in the application is held in strict confidence.

Applications and supporting documentation for tuition assistance must be submitted in Clarity by February 14, 2026, for priority consideration. Applications received after this date will be reviewed based on available funding at the time of submission.

Begin your application and add The Shlenker School to your student applicant entry. You can save your application and log out at any time and return later to complete it.

Step 3

Enter your financial information, review your application, and pay the $65 Clarity application fee.

Step 4

US taxpayers: Complete the Clarity Enhanced Tax Verification (ETV) process to release your W2 and personal tax return transcripts from the IRS. You'll be asked to authorize the sharing of your tax transcripts and verify your identity. This is a one-time security measure required by the IRS to protect against identity theft and the compromise of personal information. Only those filing US taxes will be prompted to complete this step. Clarity offers two options for enhanced tax verification process: “Clarity” and “IRS”. Please reference the Tax Verification Guide to preview the steps of this process.

Step 5

Submit your Clarity application and follow the link to return to your dashboard. Here you will see any additional supporting documents requested by schools. Upload your supporting documents by (deadline). Non-U.S. tax filers may be prompted to upload income verification and other necessary documentation. Keep in mind that at a later date, you may be prompted by the school via Clarity to upload additional documentation as needed.

Right Start

The Marvin Barish Right Start provides tuition vouchers towards the cost of a Jewish early childhood education. Families enrolling their first child in a Jewish early childhood program for the first time are eligible to receive a voucher ranging from $1,000 to $2,000.

Marvin Barish Right Start™ is a gift to families from the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston thanks to the generosity of the Marvin Barish Early Childhood Endowment, which is held at the Houston Jewish Community Foundation, and other local donors.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a Marvin Barish Right Start Signature Voucher, a child must be:

Enrolling in a Jewish early childhood program for the first time
The first child in the family to attend a Jewish early childhood program
A member of a family where at least one parent identifies as Jewish
Enrolling in a Marvin Barish Right Start-affiliated program during the academic year
Enrolling in a class where the child attends independently and meets at least 2 times/week

Families may receive one of the following Marvin Barish Right Start Signature Vouchers:

$1,000 if the child plans on attending 2 or 3 days/week.
$2,000 if the child plans on attending 5 days/week.

Special Notes

Only one voucher per child may be redeemed.
The deadline for submitting a Marvin Barish Right Start application is within three months of the child’s start date.
Twins/multiples are eligible for the Signature Vouchers (if they are your first children). When applying for twins/multiples, please fill out a separate application for each child.
