Physical Education

The physical education program at The Shlenker School places daily physical activity as a top priority. Students in our Early Childhood program enjoy motor development classes in our state-of-the-art facility. Students in kindergarten through fifth grade participate in physical education for thirty minutes each day in addition to a fifteen minute recess. The primary goal of each physical education class is to include positive, fun activities that focus on the components of physical fitness, including muscle strength and endurance, flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, and body composition. The program also includes activities that target specific skill development and encourage teamwork, cooperation, and good sportsmanship.
