Community is at the Heart of Who We Are

We are a vibrant and inclusive school rooted in Jewish values and traditions, where families from a wide range of backgrounds come together to learn, grow, and celebrate. Whether you’re continuing a strong legacy of Jewish heritage and learning, new to Jewish education, part of an interfaith family, or not Jewish yourself, you’ll find a warm and welcoming home at Shlenker.

Our community includes families affiliated with various branches of Judaism—Reform, Conservative, Orthodox—and those just beginning their Jewish journeys. We also embrace non-Jewish families, interfaith families, and all who seek to raise their children in a nurturing environment grounded in identity, compassion, and belonging.

From Kabbalat Shabbat and holiday celebrations to volunteer opportunities and community events, meaningful connections are built here—among students, parents, teachers, alumni, and friends.

Walk through our halls and you’ll feel it: a deep sense of care, respect, and joy that extends far beyond the classroom.
