The Shlenker School offers stimulating programming for students who would like to extend their school day into the afternoon.
Early Childhood Afternoon Adventures
Early Childhood students in Young Toddler through PreK-3 engage in Afternoon Adventures enrichment activities that vary throughout the week and participate in free choice learning time. Afternoon Adventures classes meet daily from 12:30pm–3:20 pm. Registration forms for all Early Childhood After School Adventure Programs are available through the Parent Portal.
After School Academy (PreK-4-Fifth Grade)
Elementary and PreK-4 School students have the opportunity to participate in After School Academy classes. Our program provides an exciting array of activities each semester that may include:
- 3D Pen Printing
- BackYard Rangers
- Basketball
- Cooking
- Engineering
- Girls on the Run
- Golf
- Junior Master Gardeners
- Lego Math
- Lego Robotics
- New Skills
- Ballet/Jazz
- Science Lab Assistants
- Soccer
- STEAM Activities
- Yoga
Each After School Academy class meets once per week, from 3:15–4:15 pm unless otherwise noted in the brochure. Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
