No Place for Hate

The Shlenker School is proud to be a participating campus in the No Place for Hate® program, sponsored by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).

This national initiative encourages schools to promote diversity education, respect for individual differences, and anti-bullying behavior while working toward official designation as a No Place for Hate School.

At Shlenker, the program is led by a dedicated group of faculty and our No Place for Hate® Coalition—a student leadership team made up of Third through Fifth graders. Together, they design and lead meaningful, school-wide activities that help build an inclusive and welcoming environment for all.

No Place for Hate Anti-Defamation League

Student-Led. Values-Driven.

Throughout the year, students take the lead on initiatives such as:

Chesed (Kindness) Week

Through daily acts of kindness and service, students learn that compassion and respect are the foundation of a community free from hate.

Projects Promoting Respect and Empathy

Hands-on projects encourage students to listen, understand, and appreciate one another, strengthening a culture of empathy and acceptance.

Empowering Student Voice and Action

Students establish ongoing practices and traditions that reinforce respect, equity, and responsibility beyond one-time events.

These efforts reflect one of our guiding values: B’tzelem Elohim—the belief that all people are created in the image of God and deserve to be treated with dignity and compassion.

A Culture of Belonging

Participation in No Place for Hate® reinforces Shlenker’s strong sense of community and empowers our students to become leaders of kindness and inclusion. It equips them with the tools to stand up against bias, support one another, and live out our shared values in meaningful ways.

Together, we are building a school where every child feels safe, valued, and celebrated.
